What do you get when you mix women, yummy food, a little wine and a boat-load of holiday decorations together? Some WOWsome wreaths and a really good time! Throw in a pop-up photo studio with a few props and it's even more fun! Such was the annual holiday get-together planned by Michelle Morrow, Bentley Flooring's business development director, Jess Armstrong of Mannington and Amanda Lee, Herregan Distributors.
The attendees were women in architecture and design, who could either come to make their wreaths over an extended lunch hour or in the late afternoon thru Happy Hour. The lunch fare was turkey chili made by Michelle Morrow and beef chili compliments of Steven Bentley. The evening food table featured a fabulous olive and cheese tray, catered by Nu Nu's Mediterranean Deli, with all the chips, dips, pita bread, cookies and brownies one could eat.
The pop-up photo studio was new this year, and Robert Trawick, the photographer who does all of Bentley Flooring's commercial photography, even set up a printer so the attendees could take their party pics home with their wreaths. Many of the participants and their wreaths looked like they got blasted with a glitter bomb explosion. Others were more traditional. All were wonderful!
Lots of positive comments and gratitude for the opportunity to get to know other women in their field was widely expressed, and many asked to do it again next year!
Last year the venue was making Gingerbread Houses, and Michelle said she is thinking about decorating tree ornaments for next year.
But who knows what 2017 will bring... besides more fun and merriment. That you can count on! Join us next year!
